Very Good progress

Today, I made very good progress. For starters, out of sheer luck, I decided to test the chip select, and found out that it had problems - as in it wasn't outputting anything. I followed a wire and found out that a wire had disconnected somewhat, so I had to re solder it. Afterwards, the chip select worked, but the chip itself wasn't outputting any data, which was still a problem. After more rigorous testing, I concluded that the chip needed to be replaced. I took out the old chip, cleared out the flux, and instead of putting a new chip directly onto the Pi hat, I put a machine pin socket as to make it so that if there were any more problems. I put the chip in, and like magic the chip worked and was reading right. Also I just wrote an essay for college, which is cool
